★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo paese incastonato nelle Langhe Liguri, terra di calanchi tartufi e cinghiali, con un parco regionale ricco di Castagne,fauna,funghi, entro terra coltivato da ostinati contadini che comunque riescono a offrire prodotti genuini, un po burberi ma se te li fai amici ti fanno stare bene,
persone pratiche e schiette come la terra che coltivano,
vi è anche una formazione geologica spettacolare! Interessante, a forma di fungo in località Borgo facile da raggiungere e spettacolare in tutte le stagioni, ristorazione offerta a prezzi ancora abbordabili , vale la pena venire quando ce il palio degli asini durante la festa che inizia l'ultimo venerdì di giugno e dura 10 giorni.
Gabriele Colombo Piana Crìxia (a Ciana in ligure - Piàn in piemontese) è un comune italiano di 830 abitanti della provincia di Savona in Liguria.
È il comune più settentrionale della provincia e l'unico comune ligure a confinare con la provincia di Asti in Piemonte. La sede comunale è situata presso la frazione di Molino.
Geografia fisica
Il comune è situato in val Bormida, nel versante settentrionale dell'Appennino Ligure, adiacente il fiume Bormida di Spigno. Nei pressi del paese è segnalata la presenza di una curiosa formazione rocciosa alta circa 15 metri, a forma di fungo. L'origine di tale formazione rocciosa è probabilmente dovuta al fatto che il masso sovrastante, che costituisce il cappello del fungo, ha protetto dall'erosione, causata dalle acque della Bormida di Spigno in tempi remoti, la roccia sedimentaria clastica che costituisce lo stelo del fungo. Per la sua singolarità il fungo è protagonista di parecchie leggende.
Il territorio comunale è costituito, oltre al capoluogo di Molino, dalle sei frazioni di Borgo, Lodisio, Pontevecchio, Praie, San Massimo e Villa per una superficie territoriale di 29,59 km2.
Confina a nord con il comune di Pezzolo Valle Uzzone, Serole e Merana, a sud con Dego, ad ovest con Castelletto Uzzone, ad est con Spigno Monferrato. Dista circa 35 km a nordovest di Savona e 88 km ad ovest di Genova.

Gabriele Colombo Piana Crìxia (in Ciana in Liguria - Piàn in Piedmontese) is an Italian town of 830 inhabitants in the province of Savona in Liguria.
It is the northernmost municipality of the province and the only Ligurian municipality to border with the province of Asti in Piedmont. The town hall is located near the hamlet of Molino.
Physical geography
The municipality is located in the Bormida valley, on the northern side of the Ligurian Apennines, adjacent to the Bormida di Spigno river. Near the village there is a curious mushroom-shaped rock formation about 15 meters high. The origin of this rock formation is probably due to the fact that the overlying boulder, which constitutes the mushroom cap, has protected from erosion, caused by the waters of the Bormida di Spigno in ancient times, the clastic sedimentary rock that constitutes the stem of the mushroom. Due to its singularity the mushroom is the protagonist of several legends.
The municipal territory consists, in addition to the capital of Molino, of the six hamlets of Borgo, Lodisio, Pontevecchio, Praie, San Massimo and Villa for a land area of 29.59 km2.
It borders to the north with the municipality of Pezzolo Valle Uzzone, Serole and Merana, to the south with Dego, to the west with Castelletto Uzzone, to the east with Spigno Monferrato. It is about 35 km northwest of Savona and 88 km west of Genoa.
