★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Micigliano è un comune italiano di circa 133 abitanti della provincia di Rieti, è tra i comuni meno popolati d'Italia. E’ collocato sul versante orientale del massiccio del Monte Terminillo, lungo le pendici del Monte Elefante, ad una quota 925 s.l.m. sovrastando le Gole del Velino. Una Strada carrabile nel 2000 è stata realizzata su un antico tracciato tortuoso di una mulattiera, d’inverno è generalmente innevata. Collega l'abitato di Micigliano con il passo Sella di Leonessa 1901 s.l.m. realizzando un percorso naturalistico con vista della vetta del Terminillo e le sottostanti Gole del Velino, fino ai gruppi montuosi del Monte Giano, del Monte Nuria e di Monte Calvo. In agosto si festeggia in onore del patrono San Lorenzo, di Sant'Antonio e della Madonna, si conclude in località Le Prata con la braciolata di Ferragosto alla Festa della Montagna.
Micigliano is an Italian town of about 133 inhabitants in the province of Rieti, it is one of the least populated towns in Italy. It is located on the eastern side of the Monte Terminillo massif, along the slopes of Monte Elefante, at an altitude of 925 meters above sea level. overlooking the Gorges of the Velino. A driveway in 2000 was built on an ancient winding path of a mule track, in winter it is generally covered with snow. It connects the town of Micigliano with the Sella di Leonessa pass 1901 s.l.m. creating a nature trail with a view of the Terminillo peak and the underlying Velino Gorges, up to the mountain ranges of Monte Giano, Monte Nuria and Monte Calvo. In August it is celebrated in honor of the patron saint San Lorenzo, of Sant'Antonio and of the Madonna, and ends in Le Prata with the braciolata of Ferragosto at the Festa della Montagna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È il paese più bello del mondo ,ci sono nato.anche se persistono tante criticità,una molto importante non ci sono ripetitori telefonici e uno per la TV con pochi canali,siamo lontani dal primo ospedale ,35 Km.C è però aria pulita e tanti boschi e montagne per delle camminate da sogno.
It is the most beautiful country in the world, I was born there, even if there are many critical issues, one very important there are no telephone repeaters and one for TV with few channels, we are far from the first hospital, 35 Km. C is however clean air and many woods and mountains for dream walks.
