Molto intrigante ed efficace l'idea di farlo conoscere tramite l'applicazione "Mezzano Romantica" e le relative installazioni di "Cataste e Canzei". Un ora e mezzo di semplice e interessante passeggiata storico-culturale grazie anche alle spiegazioni dell'app. Splendid and suggestive village. Seguendo delle frecce si scoprono scorci del paese unici tipo il tabia' museo a metà percorso. Molto belli gli angoli con le installazioni artistiche, la lavanderia, la stalla il lavatoio. Non ultimi i ristoranti e negozi con prodotti tipici. S	Sara Esse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo arrivati in serata con il camper e ci siamo fermati per passare la notte nel parcheggio vicino al campo sportivo. Essendo autosufficienti, non abbiamo necessitato di andare all' aerea camper, visto anche il costo piuttosto alto. Abbiamo fatto una bella camminata in serata per il paese, fermati al museo, fatto donazione libera, fermati a consumare in un bar carino del posto e rientrati in camper per dormire. Al mattino, solo per aver aperto le finestre del camper e la porta per far entrare aria, il maleducato vigile ci ha intimato di chiudere tutto e andare al camping vicino perché "questo parcheggio non è un campeggio" . Assurdo, il camper è un veicolo!! Allora se sto in auto con la portiera aperta, non posso stare??? Ma diamo i numeri? Campeggio è quando metti i blocchi alle ruote, apri tende, metti sedie, ecc... Noi ci siamo solo fermati per dormire, cosa che puoi fare anche in auto!! Potete vergognarvi, se trattate i turisti in questo modo! Proprio la sera prima abbiamo parlato con gente del posto, lodando il meraviglioso lavoro fatto per questo paese e il giorno dopo veniamo cacciati malamente! Intanto, fate fare un corso di aggiornamento ai vigili e poi teneteli chiusi in ufficio che con i turisti proprio non ci sanno fare!! We arrived in the evening with the camper and stopped to spend the night in the parking lot near the sports field. Being self-sufficient, we did not need to go to the camper area, also given the rather high cost. We took a nice walk around the town in the evening, stopped at the museum, made a free donation, stopped to consume in a nice local bar and returned to the camper to sleep. In the morning, only for having opened the windows of the camper and the door to let air in, the rude policeman ordered us to close everything and go to the nearby campsite because "this parking lot is not a campsite". Absurd, the camper is a vehicle !! So if I'm in the car with the door open, can't I stay ??? But shall we give the numbers? Camping is when you put the blocks on the wheels, open tents, put chairs, etc ... We just stopped to sleep, which you can also do in the car !! You can be ashamed if you treat tourists this way! Just the night before we talked to locals, praising the wonderful work done for this country and the next day we get badly kicked out! In the meantime, let the brigade take a refresher course and then keep them closed in the office that they just can't do with tourists !!

Qui le cataste di legna, che solitamente vengono usate per alimentare camini e stufe, si trasformano in opere d'arte. C'è un un percorso circolare, della durata ci circa 2 orette e 1/2 ,con molta calma e con pausa caffè, nel quale si possono vedere tutte queste opere. Molto bello anche per i ragazzi. Vivamente consigliato per le famiglie Very nice country, which is part of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Here the piles of wood, which are usually used to power fireplaces and stoves, are transformed into works of art. There is a circular route, lasting about 2 1/2 hours, very calmly and with a coffee break, in which you can see all these works. Very nice for boys too. Highly recommended for families

Consiglio di lasciare la macchina al comodo parcheggio libero situato proprio all'ingresso del paese, per poi girare a piedi tra le viette dove si possono ammirare diverse opere d'arte realizzate in legno. Le più belle, a mio parere, si trovano nella parte alta del paese. Really nice village, very well kept. I recommend leaving the car in the convenient free parking located right at the entrance to the town, and then walking around the alleys where you can admire various works of art made in wood. The most beautiful, in my opinion, are located in the upper part of the country.

Egregio il lavoro eseguito dall'amministrazione comunale nei dieci anni passati per valorizzare il paese coinvolgendo artisti del legno del luogo ed esterni. Un dettagliato percorso, con guida locale o con App da scaricare su smartphone, ti conduce tra le vie ad ammirare le "cataste" ed altre bellissime realizzazioni con il legno. Vari negozi propongono specialità locali. Tappa obbligata. Beautiful village located on the road leading to Fiera di Primiero, San Martino di Castrozza.
