β β β β β Giurdignano Γ¨ un comune italiano di 1.941 abitanti della provincia di Lecce in Puglia. Situato nel Salento orientale, a ridosso del Capo d'Otranto, possiede una delle piΓΉ grandi concentrazioni di dolmen e menhir d'Italia ed Γ¨ per questo conosciuto come il giardino megalitico d'Italia. E' un comune tranquillo, pulito e ben amministrato. Ho visitato prima il paese ed Γ¨ molto interessante e dopo sono andato in cerca dei dolmen e dei menhir. A parte quelli presenti in paese, ho fatto molta fatica a trovare gli altri sparsi nella campagna, ma ne Γ¨ valsa la pena. Abitanti del luogo molto gentili e disponibili.
Giurdignano is an Italian town of 1,941 inhabitants in the province of Lecce in Puglia. Located in eastern Salento, close to the Capo d'Otranto, it has one of the largest concentrations of dolmens and menhirs in Italy and is therefore known as the megalithic garden of Italy. It is a quiet, clean and well-managed municipality. I first visited the town and it is very interesting and then I went in search of the dolmens and menhirs. Apart from those present in the village, I had a hard time finding the others scattered in the countryside, but it was worth it. Very nice and helpful locals.
