★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cittadina con una atmosfera retrò molto particolare infatti si trova strettamente addossata alla collina e rialzata dalle sponde del torrente Sessera, che da il nome alla Valle. Per via della collina retrostante gli edifici quasi sono a contatto con il bosco che in alcuni punti rasenta gli ingressi o i balconi. Purtroppo molte sono le abitazioni e gli impianti industriali in totale stato di abbandono anche se, da quanto mi ha raccontato una signora del posto, le iniziative per tenere vivo il paese e il circondario unitamente al bellissimo territorio, sono molte come anche le collaborazioni con importanti istituzioni culturali di zona. Lascia un po' di amaro tutto questo abbandono ma la zona e le molte iniziative sono sicuramente da valorizzare con le visite e il sostegno turistico. La vicinanza con il Santuario del Cavallero e le molte escursioni organizzate, dovrebbero dare una mano. Speriamolo ardentemente.
A town with a very particular retro atmosphere, in fact, it is located close to the hill and raised by the banks of the Sessera stream, which gives its name to the valley. Because of the hill behind the buildings are almost in contact with the forest which in some points borders on the entrances or balconies. Unfortunately there are many homes and industrial plants in total state of abandonment even if, from what a local lady told me, there are many initiatives to keep the country and the surrounding area alive together with the beautiful territory, as well as collaborations with important cultural institutions in the area. It leaves a little bitter all this abandonment but the area and the many initiatives are certainly to be enhanced with visits and tourist support. The proximity to the Cavallero Sanctuary and the many organized excursions should help. Let's hope so.
