★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paese bizantino arroccato sui monti Dauni ! Ricco di storia e tradizioni offre fantastici itinerari paesaggistici ed ottima cucina! È presente un antico mulino dove potrete trovare farina ricavata solo da grano locale! Nella zona detta “Pedrera” troverete sentieri che vi offriranno la visione di un paesaggio ancora intatto....potreste addirittura vedere falchi e piccole aquile! La torre è l’emblema del paese. In piazzetta “Piscero” troverete una struttura coperta dove le lavandaie vanno a sciorinare i panni! Il paese risuona dello scorrere del fiume Celone che si presenta come “ Fiumara” ( Iumara in dialetto castelluccese) !
Byzantine country perched on the Dauni mountains! Rich in history and traditions, it offers fantastic landscape itineraries and excellent cuisine! There is an ancient mill where you can find flour made only from local wheat! In the area called "Pedrera" you will find paths that will offer you the vision of an unspoiled landscape .... you might even see hawks and small eagles! The tower is the emblem of the country. In “Piscero” square you will find a covered structure where the washerwomen go to wash the clothes! The town resounds with the flow of the Celone river which looks like "Fiumara" (Iumara in Castilian dialect)!
