★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sala consiliare del Comune di Alvignano (CE) per la presentazione del libro "Matricola 422945" di Chiara Fiorillo. La Pro Loco Alvignanese ha organizzato l'evento con il patrocinio del Comune. Il libro della giovane Chiara Fiorillo si è bellamente prestato, a cura dei relatori, ad approfondimenti sugli aspetti della II guerra mondiale, anche attraverso la testimonianza di vicende umane che hanno rappresentato lo scenario della guerra e delle sue atrocità. La storia di giovani, donne, uomini profondamente provati nei loro vissuti e nelle loro scelte. Europa ed espansione coloniale , fascismo e politica estera, terra d'Africa ed imperialismo sono stati il filo conduttore per la "parola" che entra con autorevolezza nel confronto pubblico. I libri e l'impegno degli storici nella cura, nella conoscenza e nella ricerca delle fonti sono, pertanto, testimonianza concreta di democrazia e palestra formativa per le libere coscienze di giovani e di cittadini tutti. La sala consiliare ha ospitato cittadini molto interessati. Purtroppo l'ambiente non era riscaldato.
Council room of the Municipality of Alvignano (CE) for the presentation of the book "Matricola 422945" by Chiara Fiorillo. The Pro Loco Alvignanese organized the event with the patronage of the Municipality. The book by the young Chiara Fiorillo has lent itself beautifully, by the speakers, to insights on aspects of World War II, also through the testimony of human events that represented the scenario of the war and its atrocities. The story of young people, women and men deeply tested in their experiences and in their choices. Europe and colonial expansion, fascism and foreign policy, land of Africa and imperialism have been the guiding thread for the "word" that enters public confrontation with authority. The books and the commitment of historians in the care, knowledge and research of the sources are, therefore, concrete evidence of democracy and training ground for the free consciences of young people and all citizens. The board room hosted very interested citizens. Unfortunately the environment was not heated.
