Le lontane origini romaniche si notano subito dallo stile della facciata, semplice e lineare con un bel portale che ospita una lunetta ricca di bassorilievi nel cui centro si trova una immagine del Santo. L'interno ad unica navata è composta da una serie di archi ogivali, particolare la presenza di due gradinate laterali che permettono l'accesso al presbiterio sopraelevato, quest'ultimo ampio con un importante coro ligneo. Si nota la presenza di alcuni affreschi, spesso solo frammenti. Al centro una scala discende verso la cripta dove è conservato il corpo del Santo. L'insieme è stato oggetto di un recente recupero architettonico che ha ridato splendore a questa antica collegiata.
