La visita a questo borgo è d'obbligo se si vuole apprezzare la ruralità delle colline senesi. Il borgo attorniato da mura si trova su di un ampio promontorio a cui è possibile accedervi per mezzo di un ascensore (quando sono andata io non era rotto).
Non vi sono attrazioni ne musei, ma la sua bellezza è rappresentata dalla tranquillità che si percepisce nel camminare tra le sue antiche stradine.
Scesi in piazza di trovano diversi bar dove è possibile fare apertivi.

The visit to this village is a must if you want to appreciate the rurality of the Sienese hills. The village surrounded by walls is located on a large promontory which can be accessed by an elevator (when I went I was not broken).
There are no attractions or museums, but its beauty is represented by the tranquility that is perceived in walking through its ancient streets.
Going down to the square there are several bars where you can have aperitifs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pochi bus, quasi sempre in ritardo e autisti scorbutici. Però almeno i bus sono veloci e senza problematiche ti viaggio apparte quando si fonde il motore ai bus
Few buses, almost always late and grumpy drivers. But at least the buses are fast and without problems you travel apart when the engine merges with the buses

Quiet place near Siena. Quite interesting old town-higher up than the rest of the city, accessible by lift.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un bellissimo borgo medievale. Si parcheggia nella parte bassa dietro le mura e si sale a piedi, oppure nella parte nuova del paese e si sale con un ascensore.Bel panorama. Artigianato del vetro e della ceramica.
A beautiful medieval village. You park in the lower part behind the walls and go up on foot, or in the new part of the town and go up with an elevator. Glass and ceramic crafts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 30 minutes to the Firenze, 20 minutes to the Siena for the price of Ice cream. AC is running well, space for all kind of luggage. English speaking crew. What else??? Yes big screen on the stop to see when and where.
The only problem was with ticket machine - card reader out of order, so keep some coins in the pocket
