★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesetta di legno del Col di Lana, posta sulla vetta dell'omonima cima a 2.462 metri, domina tutte le dolomiti. E' stata eretta a memoria dell'ardita impresa compiuta durante la prima guerra mondiale da parte dell'esercito italiano che, scavando una lunga galleria sotto la vetta, dominata dagli austriaci, fece esplodere la parte sommitale del monte. Il cratere prodotto dalla mina è ancora ben visibile.
Ogni anno l'evento è celebrato con una funzione religiosa sulla chiesetta la prima domenica di agosto. Il luogo è splendido, isolatissimo dalle altre montagne, a quota elevata e offre quindi uno dei più belli e completi panorami delle dolomiti fino alle montagne di confine.
The wooden church of Col di Lana, located on the summit of the homonymous peak at 2,462 meters, dominates all the Dolomites. It was erected in memory of the daring feat accomplished during the First World War by the Italian army which, by digging a long tunnel under the peak, dominated by the Austrians, blew up the top of the mountain. The crater produced by the mine is still clearly visible.
Every year the event is celebrated with a religious function on the church on the first Sunday of August. The place is splendid, very isolated from the other mountains, at high altitude and therefore offers one of the most beautiful and complete panoramas of the Dolomites up to the border mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 登山口の前に10台位の駐車スペースがありますが2018年11月の爆弾低気圧による杉林^倒壊処理の大型作業車が頻繁に通行していたので、村の駐車場に停めて歩きました。初夏は綺麗な草原になり軽めの登山としては気持ちの良い山でした。
There are about 10 parking spaces in front of the mountain entrance, but because a large work vehicle of the cedar forest ^ collapse processing by bomb low pressure of November 2018 was passing frequently, I parked and walked in the parking lot of the village . It was a beautiful meadow in early summer and a pleasant mountain for light mountaineering.
