★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All'interno del Museo Civico di Gravina, nel Palazzo dell’ex Seminario Vescovile, c'è un ufficio informazioni turistiche. Essendovi arrivato la sera in tarda ora ho potuto visitare solo una mostra di ricostruzioni in pietra di chiese, della cattedrale, del castello e di antiche masserie. Il museo racchiude I reperti provenienti dalla collina di Botromagno o Petramagna sede di un vasto abitato preromano, e nella limitrofa zona di “Padre Eterno”, lungo il torrente Gravina, ed offre al pubblico una prima e significativa campionatura dei corredi tombali del VI e VIl sec a.C. finora rinvenuti e restaurati.
Inside the Civic Museum of Gravina, in the Palace of the former Episcopal Seminary, there is a tourist information office. Having arrived late in the evening, I was able to visit only an exhibition of stone reconstructions of churches, the cathedral, the castle and ancient farms. The museum contains the finds from the Botromagno or Petramagna hill, home to a vast pre-Roman settlement, and in the neighboring area of "Eternal Father", along the Gravina stream, and offers the public a first and significant sampling of the grave goods of the VI and VIl century BC so far found and restored.
