★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esisteva un bel mercatino dell'antiquariato la 1 domenica del mese. Pur essendo ancora indicato sul sito e aver chiesto conferma telefonando in comune ieri mattina (risposta è"il mercatino c'è " ), oggi: nulla!!! Sperimentato oggi e altre 2 volte !!
There was a nice antiques market on the 1st Sunday of the month. Although still indicated on the site and having asked for confirmation by phoning in town yesterday morning (the answer is "the market is there"), today: nothing !!! Tested today and 2 more times !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ festa di Ognissanti 2021:il paese è suggestivo, con la bella chiesa e le vie pressoché tutte iporticate. Abbiamo avuto la sorpresa della Rocca: bellissima, almeno da fuori!!!! Io capisco che il comune è piccolo e mantenere sempre aperto il museo (all'interno della Rocca) con tutto ciò che contiene è dispendioso. È aperto al pubblico solo la domenica, però almeno durante le altre festività, con la gente che si sposta, bisognerebbe tenere aperto questo tesoro. Siamo tornati a casa un po' delusi.
feast of All Saints 2021: the town is suggestive, with the beautiful church and almost all the streets with arcades. We had the surprise of the Rocca: beautiful, at least from the outside !!!! I understand that the town is small and always keeping the museum open (inside the Rocca) with everything it contains is expensive. It is open to the public only on Sundays, but at least during other holidays, with people moving around, this treasure should be kept open. We came home a little disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comune di Novellara nella Rocca che trasuda di storia dei Gonzaga e dell'aria del Po. Terra di tradizioni e ricordi agricoli. Ingresso nel cortile con la biblioteca molto fruibile e poi carretti della vita agricola. Porticato accogliente. Buone le indicazioni logistiche. In corso restauri. Bello lo scalone che porta in sala consiliare.
Municipality of Novellara in the Rocca that exudes the history of the Gonzaga and the Po air. Land of traditions and agricultural memories. Entrance into the courtyard with the library very usable and then carts of agricultural life. Cozy porch. Good logistical indications. Restoration in progress. The staircase leading to the council chamber is beautiful.
