This is a smallish bar for coffee and a quick snack. Morning cappucini were made quickly and with a very pleasant welcome from the woman barista. Food does not appear to be cooked there.
But the chocolate! Made in house. See pictures attached of the chocolate maker and piles of hand poured bars. So many flavors, plain, spices, herbal, just about every variety of fruit and nuts. Modica style grainy but just a little, and with a great complex flavor to the chocolate itself. I prefer this slight grain to the very grainy most traditional style, but if you are a purist about the old style texture you probably should purchase elsewhere. Flavors even included truffle-- the mushroom-- surprisingly delicious. After a sample we just had to buy a freshly made bar of truffle chocolate pulled from the pile being made in the pictures,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed this little cafe which offered charming and friendly service, along with a free grammar lesson as we ordered coffee and snacks - 'uno cannolo, due cannoli...' Each cannolo cost €2,00 and a an americano €2,00 as well. Good value.
