★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top quality food and a detailed professional service! if you are in town and you want to eat food with genuine and km0 ingredients, this is what you are looking for. Cheese is a must if you are there, as the owner has it's own cellar and it's own production. Highly recommended! You will be delighted ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place seems to be regularly booked out - we managed to get a table for dinner to see what the fuss was all about. It’s clear from our experience (and that of other reviewers here) that there are some things this restaurant does excellently and other things that it fails miserably at.
Firstly, we appreciated the good service. The amuse-bouche they gave us was a beautifully thick raw gazpacho, delicious. Then we shared the vegetarian antipasto platter (it’s enough for two), which was also wonderful. We also had an excellent bottle of red wine (susumaniello variety).
From there on it went rapidly downhill. For mains my partner ordered the mixed grilled meat - turns out it was 4 tough chunks of over cooked meat with one sad potato that was under seasoned and not even roasted. The waiter told us that “rare” or “medium rare” is not a thing in Puglia except for steak, so there was no other way to have it. My ragù pasta dish was bland with hardly a trace of meat, slathered with breadcrumbs that were so fine that they didn’t give a crunch but rather turned the whole thing into a gloopy, floury mess. We got a side green salad which was so salty that we couldn’t eat it.
We ordered a cheese platter because we were so hungry, having not been able to eat much of our mains. The waiter did try to make up for the terrible food by giving us a little extra slice of cheese plus some biscuits and herbal liqueur that had been made on-site. For the prices we paid, we won’t be coming back here again but credit to the waiter for his efforts in trying to compensate for his employer’s lacking food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Puglia for a week, I was hunting down La Pasta Fresca. I got what I wanted.
Delicious historic pastas from Ceglie served by a great staff, always there to advise and provide more information in a cute a comfy atmosphere.
Highly recommend this restaurant, for pasta fresca, the multiple great wines available and a special 'waw' for the walnut ice cream: it has blown my brain out!
(pic: vegeterian antipasti, maccheroni, ice cream with figs (not the walnut one! Forgot to take a picture, been eaten too fast))
Arrivederci!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good, our experience very posive but (only slighty) marred by underservice and the 3 meat dish being average. Bit of a punt getting meat dish in these parts, especially given the quality we get at home. Antipasta very good other pastas where excellent. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in an idyllic alley, the service is warm, knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. We had the mix appetizers and the cold cuts as well as two pasta dishes. The cold orecchiette was absolutely great. Also a couple of good beers on the menu. Prices are appropriate and not too expensive given the quality of the dishes. Found it on Osterie d’Italia guide

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made a detour to visit this restaurant and we were well rewarded. The food was interesting but above all delicious (big vote for the rabbit here). The service was warm, thoughtful and accommodating to our exceedingly limited Italian.
Do what we did - make an effort to get here and I am sure you will feel like we did - our trip to Italy has been enriched.
