This was the worst meal that we've had after a month in Italy. We came here because of the great reviews and were severely disappointed. We ordered the pasta with pesto and a piece of fish, which looked like Cod. The food looked great, but was horrendous. The pasta was super salty and the fish was cold and tasted like it was cooked a week ago. We took a few bites of our food and couldn't bare to eat more. It was disgusting and we lost our appetite. We were happy to pay the 11.50 euros to get out of there as soon as possible. There are so many great restaurants in Napoli. There is absolutely no reason to go to this one.

Great food at great prices. Cafeteria atmosphere, not touristy, favored by locals and working people.

A tiny hidden gem of Naples, the staff don't speak a single English word, but the place is definitely worth a visit.

This place is super authentic, we spotted only locals when we ate there. Feels like sitting in someone's kitchen for lunch. We came here a bit before closing. So most of the dishes ran out and they were making a new pasta dish. The pasta was with tomato and eggplant sauce, definitely the best of it genre (in Napoli and in our lives so far). Also, we took a sausage with broccoli, was delicious as well. A must. Pay attention that the location of the restaurant is next to its location on google maps, just ask the locals.

If you want an authentic restaurant in naples, you have to try this one : alive, busy and fast (people come here to eat well and don't linger too much). The restaurant is in the bottom left of the market with a small entrance (but theres enough space inside). There's no much tourist here, but the staff speaks english and Spanish. The food is simple and very tasty. Ps: the lady in the front doesn't speak English so speak in Italian or ask help from a waiter!

Typical local place with really fare prices. A little chaotic atmosfere, but so italian. The stuff don't speak a single word English, but it is not a problem at all. It's really a must have to go here for a lunch, so definitely don't miss this place when you are going to be in Naples.

"This might not be the most mouthwatering meal you eat in Naples, but it quite possibly will be the most memorable." Read full review soon on: bittermansguide.com

Tucked away in a corner of a covered market hall, having a meal at Cibi Cotti feels eating in somebody’s kitchen for lunch. It is extremely authentic, frequented mostly by locals, and whilst the food might not be the most delicious, this is definitely one of the most memorable meals you’ll have in Naples! The dishes change on a daily basis depending on the available produce. A certain fixed amount is cooked (cafeteria style) so sadly most of the dishes ran out by the time we came. If you do decide to visit this quaint little restaurant, come earlier ~1pm. 100% recommendable experience!
