Ovviamente nulla rimane della struttura originaria, distrutta anche dai terremoti del 1857 e del 1980. Ristrutturata di recente e riaperta al culto il 21 novembre del 2015. La facciata lineare è sormontata da un timpano triangolare. L'interno è a tre navate e le due laterali ospitano diverse nicchie dove sono conservate statue e busti di manifattura napoletana risalenti ai secoli diciassettesimo e diciottesimo. Il soffitto è in legno, con capriate, il pavimento in cotto fatto a mano, l'abside squadrato e semplice, così come tutta la chiesa che, non a caso, è affidata ai frati minori francescani. Il campanile su quattro livelli, posto dietro l'abside, ha pianta quadrata. La terrazza prospiciente la chiesa è davvero incantevole, offre una vista mozzafiato che si spinge fino ad Agropoli e al mare. According to tradition, it seems that the original nucleus of this place of worship dates back to around 900 years ago. Obviously nothing remains of the original structure, also destroyed by the earthquakes of 1857 and 1980. Recently renovated and reopened for worship on November 21, 2015. The linear facade is surmounted by a triangular tympanum. The interior has three naves and the two sides house several niches where Neapolitan-made statues and busts dating back to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries are kept. The ceiling is made of wood, with trusses, the handmade terracotta floor, the square and simple apse, as well as the whole church which, not surprisingly, is entrusted to the Franciscan friars minor. The bell tower on four levels, placed behind the apse, has a square plan. The terrace overlooking the church is truly enchanting, offering a breathtaking view that goes up to Agropoli and the sea.
