★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kościół Niepokalanego Serca Maryi w Weronie jest kościołem współczesnym, wybudowanym w latach 1950 - 1952. W 2002 kościół został ogłoszony „Sanktuarium Miasta”. Jego budowa była zapowiedziana we wrześniu 1943 jako wotum, aby zapobiec tragicznym skutkom wojny dla miasta. Z tego powodu nosi tytuł Świątyni Wotywnej.
Świątynia zbudowana na planie krzyża łacińskiego. Wnętrze ma jedną nawę, z ogromną malowaną apsydą. Fasada wykonana jest z tufu i ma trzy portale, oraz dużą płaskorzeźbę zwróconą do stacji Porta Nuova.
Będąc w tej okolicy warto zobaczyć ten ładny współczesny kościół.
 The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Verona is a modern church built in the years 1950 - 1952. In 2002 the church was proclaimed "Sanctuary of the City". Its construction was announced in September 1943 by a vote to prevent the tragic consequences of the war for the city. For this reason, it bears the title of Votive Temple.
The temple was built on a Latin cross plan. The interior has one nave, with a huge painted apse. The facade is made of tuff and has three portals, and a large bas-relief facing Porta Nuova station.
Being in this area is worth seeing this nice contemporary church.

La chiesa fu promessa con voto dal vescovo di Verona Girolamo Cardinale l'8 settembre 1943, quando gli eventi bellici facevano presagire un tragico destino della città, in modo tale da scongiurare terribili sciagure. Per questo porta il titolo di Tempio Votivo.
Il Tempio fu iniziato l'8 dicembre 1950 e venne inaugurato l'8 dicembre 1952, mentre fu consacrato dal vescovo Giovanni Urbani il 13 maggio 1958.
The Tempio Votivo is a church in Verona that rises in front of the Porta Nuova station.
The church was promised with a vote by the bishop of Verona Girolamo Cardinale on 8 September 1943, when the war events presaged a tragic destiny of the city, in such a way as to avert terrible misfortunes. For this reason it bears the title of Votive Temple.
The Temple was started on 8 December 1950 and was inaugurated on 8 December 1952, while it was consecrated by Bishop Giovanni Urbani on 13 May 1958.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegante chiesa limitrofa alla stazione. Bella sia la facciata che le vetrate. Sacerdoti abbastanza garbati. Peccato per il cartello all'ingresso, votato ad accontentare - nella casa del Signore - umori un po' marcatamente leghisti.
Elegant church adjacent to the station. Beautiful both the facade and the windows. Pretty polite priests. Too bad for the sign at the entrance, devoted to satisfy - in the house of the Lord - moods a bit markedly Northern League.
