★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 19 ottobre 2002. E' la data delle mie mie nozze con Luigia... siamo sardi, abitiamo a Modena, frequentavamo spesso la bellissima Genova, un amica ci fece conoscere un frate, Padre Walter. Ci innamorammo di lui, della sua simpatia e della sua semplicità... dopo varie peripezie organizzative (e dopo tanti incontri e lunghe chiacchierate col nuovo amico Walter) riuscimmo ad ottenere il "nulla osta" per il nostro matrimonio. Qui, nella chiesa di SAN BARNABA. Un momento intenso, intimo ed indimenticabile in un luogo di grande fascino. Ovviamente Genova è profondamente nel nostro cuore.
 October 19, 2002. It is the date of my wedding with Luigia ... we are Sardinians, we live in Modena, we often frequented the beautiful Genoa, a friend introduced us to a friar, Father Walter. We fell in love with him, his sympathy and his simplicity ... after various organizational vicissitudes (and after many meetings and long chats with the new friend Walter) we managed to get the "nulla osta" for our marriage. Here, in the church of SAN BARNABA. An intense, intimate and unforgettable moment in a place of great charm. Obviously Genoa is deeply in our heart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di San Barnaba mi ricorda un po la mia infanzia. ......specialmente in questo periodo....per quanto riguarda il Presepe. ...me sempre rimasto impresso...era uno dei migliori nella zona di OREGINA e confinanti...dopo tanti anni Domenica scorsa....dopo la Santa Messa....o visto la porta aperta...dove andavo a vedere il Presepe. ....son passati anni....che non lo vedevo.....entrando nel buio all'improvviso si accendono tutte le luci della notte....mi son messo ad osservare tutti i particolari...una cosa mai vista......il Presepe con la Capanna della Natività e la Madonna è i Re Magi con i Pastori.... sopra la Collina...con la visuale del Porto Antico.....con il suo mare e i Veglieri....una cosa meravigliosa....o fatto diverse Fotografie ....Non facili perché protetto da vetro.....scusate ma era dovuto...la mia lungaggine...
The Church of San Barnaba reminds me a little of my childhood. ...... especially in this period .... as regards the Nativity scene. ... always impressed me ... it was one of the best in the area of OREGINA and bordering ... after so many years last Sunday .... after the Holy Mass .... or having seen the door open ... where I was going to see the Nativity scene. .... years have passed .... I didn't see it ..... entering the dark all the lights of the night come on .... I started to observe all the details ... one thing never seen ...... the Nativity scene with the Nativity Hut and the Madonna is the Three Kings with the Shepherds .... above the Hill ... with the view of the Old Port ..... with its sea and the Veglieri .... a wonderful thing .... or made several Photographs .... Not easy because protected by glass ..... sorry but it was due ... my delay ...
