Esternamente presenta una facciata che assomiglia allo stile rinascimentale presente anche nella conosciutissima Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore di Firenze. Inoltre questa facciata si distingue da tutte le altre presenti in questa città. Ha una pianta ottagonale centrale; sovrastata da una cupola. Tutto l'interno della chiesa è stra decorato. Consigliata e obbligatoria la visita a questo gioiello.
It is one of the most beautiful churches in Fano. Externally it has a facade that resembles the Renaissance style also present in the well-known Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. In addition, this facade stands out from all the others in this city. It has a central octagonal plan; surmounted by a dome. The whole interior of the church is highly decorated. A visit to this jewel is recommended and mandatory.

La storia dice che fu costruita alla metà del XIII sec. La primitiva chiesa era più grande di quella attuale, ma nel 1740 il dilavamento provocato dalle piogge provocò la rovina della chiesetta che venne allora ricostruita realizzando una struttura di modeste dimensioni che ben assolveva al ruolo di piccolo fondale scenografico della piazza.
Nel 2011 il vescovo della Diocesi ha concesso alla comunità cristiana ortodossa l'uso liturgico della chiesa di Sant'Antonio Abate.
Today's Christian Orthodox Church, very small, on an octagonal base.
The story says that it was built in the middle of the thirteenth century. The early church was larger than the present, but in 1740 the runoff caused by rainfall caused the ruin of the church which was then rebuilt making a modest-sized structure that well he performed the role of small scenic backdrop of the square.
In 2011 the bishop of the Diocese gave the Orthodox Christian community liturgical use of the Church of Saint Anthony.
