Per il resto, il mio giudizio è che si tratta di un bel luogo di arte e di fede, molto tranquillo al suo interno (aperto solo il mercoledì dalle 12.30 alle 14.30 e per la Messa alle 11 nei giorni festivi), e parzialmente inserito nei giardinetti alle sue spalle dove è possibile sostare all'ombra. Ecco le informazioni storiche: "Questo piccolo oratorio, parte di un nucleo rurale rimasto all'esterno della città fino alla fine dell'Ottocento, sorge isolato di fronte alla cascina delle Abbadesse. Costruito nel 1772, è intitolato ai Santi Carlo e Vitale soltanto nel 1796. Inteno a navata unica, è diviso in quattro campate. Il presbiterio ospita un altare tardo barocco. Gli affreschi che adornano le pareti sono opera del lombardo Pietro Maggi (1723-24)."
Here are some historical information that can be read on the tourist card placed outside the church. For the rest, my opinion is that it is a beautiful place of art and faith, very quiet inside (open only on Wednesdays from 12.30 to 14.30 and for Mass at 11 on holidays), and partially inserted in the small gardens behind it where it is possible to stop in the shade. Here is the historical information: "This small oratory, part of a rural nucleus that remained outside the city until the end of the nineteenth century, stands isolated in front of the Abbadesse farmhouse. Built in 1772, it is dedicated to Saints Carlo and Vitale only in 1796. The interior has a single nave and is divided into four bays. The presbytery houses a late Baroque altar. The frescoes adorning the walls are the work of the Lombard Pietro Maggi (1723-24). "
