Berichtet wird, dass sein Gebet ein totes Kind wieder zum Leben gebracht habe.
Bei der Besetzung der Stadt durch Ostgotenkönig Totila erlitt er das Martyrium. Der Überlieferung nach wurde er skalpiert, enthauptet und der Körper über die Stadtmauer geworfen.
Nach 40 Tagen wurde demnach das Grab geöffnet: sein Kopf war wieder fest mit dem Körper verbunden.
Herculanus, Italian name is Ercolano, was first a monk, then became a priest and finally Bishop of Perugia.
It is reported that his prayer brought a dead child back to life.
During the occupation of the city by the Ostrogoth king Totila, he suffered martyrdom. According to tradition, he was scalped, beheaded and the body thrown over the city wall.
After 40 days, the grave was opened: his head was firmly attached to the body again.

Die Kirche von Campione del Garda, für die Menschen die hier lebten und in der Fabrik arbeiteten. Außen in gelb und weiß, renoviert, innen eher schlicht gehalten. Vor der Kirche eine Büste des Fabrikbesitzers, der sich sehr um seine Arbeiter und ihre Familien gekümmert hat.
It's been a while.
The Church of Campione del Garda, for the people who lived here and worked in the factory. Outside in yellow and white, renovated, inside rather simple. In front of the church is a bust of the factory owner who took great care of his workers and their families.
