La storica Chiesa li ubicata ha dato il nome alla via. Da sempre e da tutti i folignati conosciuta anche col nome Chiesa dell'Ospedale .... .basta pensare che il nuovo Ospedale della città inaugurato nel 2006, dopo gli eventi sismici del 1997/98, porta il suo nome " Ospedale San Giovanni Battista ".

Grazie all'impegno dei volontari del Rione Pugilli questa bellissima chiesa è stata riaperta ed è visitabile gratuitamente in occasione di eventi o su prenotazione.
