Always welcoming place of worship and in a very central point of the historic center of Palermo. The evening mass at 8 pm on holidays is very convenient.

A stone's throw from the Massimo theater in the historic center. Difficult to find parking unless paid nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è stata costruita dal 1880 al 1940 cappella del vicino monastero benedettino; dal 1941, essendosi ridotto il numero delle monache, è stata ceduta all'arcidiocesi, divenendo parrocchia. La facciata comprende tre ingressi ad archi a sesto acuto in stile romanico. L'altare centrale e quelli laterali sono stati decorati fin dalla costruzione dal pittore G. La Manna.
The church was built from 1880 to 1940 chapel of the nearby Benedictine monastery; since 1941, having reduced the number of nuns, it was ceded to the archdiocese, becoming a parish. The façade includes three Romanesque pointed arches entrances. The central and side altars have been decorated since their construction by the painter G. La Manna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completed in 1880 in neogothic style. It is a bit uncommon in Palermo and it's an agreeable sight, in spite of the adjacent ugly modern building, while its interiors decoration can remind a little bit (from far) Monreale Cathedral.
Saint Peter and Paul Apostles was the chapel of a no more existent benedictine monastery, till 1940 when with only a few nuns it was shut.
