★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sul lato sinistro di Villa Arconati si trova la Chiesa dedicata a San Guglielmo il Grande. Con la visita dell'arcivescovo San Carlo Borromeo in data 27 luglio 1573, l'allora proprietario del borgo di Castellazzo (all'epoca Villafranca) Guido Cusani fece costruire nell'arco di quattro anni la nuova chiesa su progetto dell'architetto Martino Bassi.
All'interno dell'edificio sono presenti opere di buona fattura, tra cui le tele dei due altari laterali opera di Giuseppe Bertini.
La chiesa e' frequentata da molti fedeli dei paesi limitrofi.
Dal 1976 la parrocchia e' affidata ai Padri Betharramiti.
On the left side of Villa Arconati is the church dedicated to San Guglielmo the Great. With the visit of the archbishop San Carlo Borromeo on 27 July 1573, the then owner of the village of Castellazzo (at the time Villafranca) Guido Cusani had the new church built over a period of four years based on a project by the architect Martino Bassi.
Inside the building there are works of good workmanship, including the paintings of the two side altars by Giuseppe Bertini.
The church is frequented by many faithful from neighboring countries.
Since 1976 the parish has been entrusted to the Betharramite Fathers.
