★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa piccola chiesa si trova di fronte al Palazzo del Popolo ed è ormai inutilizzata se non occasionalmente per ospitare piccole esposizioni ed eventi. E’ una delle tre chiese che presidiavano la piazza insieme a quelle di San Bernardo e San Leonardo.
 This small church is located in front of the Palazzo del Popolo and is now unused except occasionally to host small exhibitions and events. It is one of the three churches that guarded the square along with those of San Bernardo and San Leonardo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 stelle perché per me ha un fascino particolare questa chiesa (sconsacrata), ove non vi è apposto una targa ne' un cartello per ricondurre una persona interessata a conoscerla. Ebbene, attualmente trasandata ed in decadimento, è stata oggetto di lavori anche interni per la sua messa in sicurezza. In stile romanico, l'edificio originario è risalente al XIV secolo, opera dei Carmelitani Scalzi che lo cedettero in seguito, nel XVI secolo venne ricostruita quasi interamente a causa di qualche cedimento.
L'ingresso è dalla piazza del Popolo, caratterizzato da un arco a sesto acuto e dalla porta (oggi) in bronzo.
4 stars because this church (deconsecrated) has a special charm for me, where there is no plaque or a sign to bring a person interested in knowing it. Well, currently untidy and in decline, it has also been the subject of internal works for its safety. In Romanesque style, the original building dates back to the 14th century, a work of the Discalced Carmelites who later ceded it, in the 16th century it was almost entirely rebuilt due to some failure.
The entrance is from Piazza del Popolo, characterized by a pointed arch and by the door (today) in bronze.
