Non do il massimo punteggio solo perché non è molto facile da raggiungere, ma nel complesso un luogo interessante e raccolto. Beautiful Church, in the context of a very nice small village. I do not give the maximum score just because it is not very easy to reach, but overall an interesting and collected place.

Prima della porta principale la chiesa di San Pancrazio, un piccolo gioiello con affreschi di vare epoche fino al Seicento. Vicinissima a Roma. La consiglio a chi non la conosce Isola Farnese is a beautiful village. Before the main door is the church of San Pancrazio, a small jewel with frescoes from various eras up to the seventeenth century. Very close to Rome. I recommend it to those who do not know it

Grazie perché ci sono molto legata a questa Chiesa. My First Communion Church, I went back yesterday afternoon and found it slightly changed but in good condition, except for the external nave, however, I breathe a familiar and comfortable air. Thank you because I am very attached to this Church.

Small characteristic church at the entrance of this village with a small parking lot outside. Very nice interiors, beautiful frescoes.
I	Iunio Marcello Clementi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La facciata presenta un bel portale costruito con marmi di epoca romana, e sopra di esso un rosone con decorazione a vetro policromo. L’interno è a tre navate con abside. Ovunque nell’edificio vi sono affreschi o resti di affreschi del XVI secolo. Ai lati della porta d’ingresso vi sono due affreschi, uno raffigurante la Madonna col bambino ed i Santi Giovanni evangelista e Antonio abate, e, sul lato opposto, un presepe. Quest’ultimo affresco porta l’iscrizione con data e autore: tale Giulio di Mastro Cola della Bordella, nel 1520. Lungo la navata centrale, dipinta su un pilastro, una Madonna che allatta il bambino. Nella navata di destra vi è un prezioso Crocifisso ligneo del XV secolo; il fonte battesimale, nel quale è incastonato lo stemma dei Farnese; ed un’acquasantiera, costituita da due capitelli di epoca romana, tra i quali è inserito un marmo paleocristiano ove sono scolpiti due colombi che bevono ad una sorgente. La navata termina con una cappella, ove è collocata una tela raffigurante la Madonna col bambino ed i santi Domenico e Caterina da Siena, attribuita al Cavalier d’Arpino; essa è contornata da 15 piccole formelle ove sono raffigurati i 15 misteri del rosario. The façade has a beautiful portal built with Roman times marbles, and above it a rosette with a polychrome glass decoration. The interior has three naves with an apse. Everywhere in the building there are frescoes or remains of 16th century frescoes. At the sides of the entrance door there are two frescoes, one depicting the Madonna and Child and Saint John Evangelist and Anthony Abbot, and, on the opposite side, a crib. This last fresco bears the inscription with date and author: such Giulio di Mastro Cola della Bordella, in 1520. Along the central nave, painted on a pillar, a Madonna nursing the child. In the right aisle there is a precious wooden Crucifix of the fifteenth century; the baptismal font, in which the Farnese coat of arms is set; and a holy water font, consisting of two capitals from the Roman period, including an early Christian marble where two pigeons are carved to drink from a spring. The nave ends with a chapel, where is placed a painting depicting the Madonna and Child and Sts Dominic and Catherine of Siena, attributed to Cavalier d'Arpino; it is surrounded by 15 small panels depicting the 15 mysteries of the rosary.

Cecchini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolina ma suggestiva soprattutto perché molto legata al territorio e attiva a livello pastorale... questo almeno se si passa da fuori e la si trova chiusa...ma avendo la fortuna di trovarla aperta è un capolavoro, unica nel suo genere e con dipinti del 400 che regalano un presepe nell'abside e una Madonna che allatta il bambinello su una colonna della navata centrale. Bellissimo il crocifisso ligneo e il fonte battesimale. Un bel biglietto da visita per chi si accinge a visitare l'adiacente borgo medievale. Guardate le foto e le altre recensioni su Roma e le sue meraviglie che ho fatto. Small but suggestive above all because it is very linked to the territory and active on a pastoral level ... this at least if you pass from the outside and find it closed ... but having the good fortune to find it open it is a masterpiece, one of a kind and with paintings of the 400 that give a nativity scene in the apse and a Madonna nursing the baby on a column of the central nave. The wooden crucifix and the baptismal font are beautiful. A nice business card for those who are about to visit the adjacent medieval village. Have been here each year for Easter and have enjoyed the Easter season immensely. The stations of the cross with the local town and families is something you will remember your whole life. A blessing for sure!!
