★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una bellissima Chiesa costruita su precedenti chiese, nel sei e settecento subì numerosi abbellimenti che la resero piena di opere d'arte. La facciata del 1912 è di Ernesto Armo', all'interno da segnalare il Crocifisso dipinto da Pietro Ruzzolone nel 1484, la statua lignea dell'Immacolata di Filippo Quattrocchi del 1799, e le statue rimaste dell'icona marmorea di Giuliano Mancino e Bartolomeo Berrettaro del 1517 che erano nell'antica Chiesa Matrice di S. Maria La Nova.Da visitare inoltre la cappella del Beato Agostino Novello, Patrono di Termini Imerese.
La diocesi di Termini Imerese rimase sino all'epoca normanna, oggi è sede vescovile titolare, Mons. Marco Salvi, vescovo ausiliare di Perugia è oggi l'attuale vescovo titolare.
A beautiful church built on previous churches, in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries underwent numerous embellishments that made it full of works of art. The 1912 facade is by Ernesto Armo ', inside the Crucifix painted by Pietro Ruzzolone in 1484, the wooden statue of the Immaculate Conception by Filippo Quattrocchi from 1799, and the remaining statues of the marble icon by Giuliano Mancino and Bartolomeo Berrettaro of 1517 which were in the ancient Mother Church of S. Maria La Nova. Also worth visiting is the chapel of Blessed Agostino Novello, patron saint of Termini Imerese.
The diocese of Termini Imerese remained until the Norman era, today it is the titular bishopric, Mons. Marco Salvi, auxiliary bishop of Perugia is today the current titular bishop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Duomo di Termini Imerese (San Nicola di Bari) si presenta come un enorme struttura in stile classico con tre navate ed una torre campanaria stupenda, l'antichissima Chiesa più volte rifatta ha una parte storica originale in buone condizioni. All'interno si trovano dipinti e sculture di altissimo pregio, aperta tutti i giorni consiglio una visita.
The Duomo of Termini Imerese (San Nicola di Bari) looks like a huge structure in classical style with three naves and a stupendous bell tower, the ancient church, rebuilt several times, has an original historical part in good condition. Inside there are paintings and sculptures of the highest quality, open every day I recommend a visit.

Situata difronte al "chiosco di Ficarra e Picone" del film "l'ora legale".
La scalinata che porta ad essa arrivando dalla stazione, è tanto impegnativa quanto caratteristica.
Alle sue spalle il Belvedere che è davvero un bel vedere...

The staircase leading to it coming from the station is as demanding as it is characteristic.
Behind it the Belvedere which is really a beautiful sight ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you visit this church try to get to it by climbing up The hill on foot. For those who don't live in Europe this is the best way to see the narrow alleys and the cobblestone streets that wind through rows of houses that are hundreds of years old. Every tight street is a Kodak moment.
