(Fonte: Wikipedia)
Small church, It is not always open, but only in conjunction with religious services. Located in the historic center of Crotone in the Pescheria district, in Via Giuseppe Suriano. Built at the beginning of the sixteenth century, the church was named after the noble family of Prothospataris, which in Calabria was ancient (well before the year one thousand) of Greek-Byzantine origin and later passed but resident in Crotone, where it was joined to the Seat of S . Dionysius, and quenched with Elizabeth, Marchioness of Crucoli married in 1641 to Didaco Francesco Amalfi. It became an active parish from 1525. After having been "abandoned" for a relatively long period, under Charles III of Bourbon, the parish returned to resume parish functions. In 1777 the church had two altars: one dedicated to Saint Luigi Gonzaga and another to Saint Gaetano. In 1960 the church was restored, but the two side altars and the paintings depicting the owners were removed. (Source: Wikipedia)
