L'interno è ricco di ornamenti in perfetto stile barocco. Se passata per La Morra, tra un bicchiere di vino e l'altro, fermativi ad ammirare questa fantastica chiesa. I was in this church on the occasion of the 45th anniversary celebration of AVIS La Morra - Verduno. The facade is imposing and very suggestive. The interior is full of ornaments in perfect Baroque style. If you passed through La Morra, between a glass of wine and the other, stop to admire this fantastic church.

Nel 1713, venne costruita la casa canonica che si affaccia sulla piazzetta della chiesa e comunica con il presbiterio attraverso la sacrestia. L'11 gennaio 1874 un incendio arrecò gravi danni all'edificio: gran parte degli arredi, come ad esempio la tribuna e l'organo, furono danneggiati e distrutti dalle fiamme. L’imponente facciata barocca, che chiude scenograficamente via San Martino, è movimentata da elementi architettonici, quali colonne, nicchie e cornici aggettanti, che creano giochi di luci e ombre. Sopra il portone d'ingresso si innalza la statua di San Martino, patrono del paese. L’interno, a navata unica, con cappelle laterali comunicanti, custodisce importanti opere d’arte barocca, tra cui la pala dell’altare maggiore rappresentante la Madonna con Bambino e i Santi Martino e Crispino (1715), dell’artista Giovanni Carlo Aliberti, al quale è attribuito anche il Trionfo di San Martino, affresco situato nella volta dell’abside. La volta della navata è stata dipinta da Luigi Morgari nel 1880 e raffigura episodi della vita di San Martino. The parish church of San Martino was built between 1684 and 1695 based on a design by the architect. Michelangelo Garove. In 1713, it built the rectory overlooking the square of the church and communicates with the presbytery through the sacristy. On 11 January 1874 a fire caused serious damage to the building: most of the furnishings, such as the tribune and the organ, were damaged and destroyed by the flames. The imposing Baroque façade, which scenically closes Via San Martino, is enlivened by architectural elements, such as columns, niches and projecting cornices, which create a play of light and shadow. Above the entrance door there is a statue of San Martino, the town's patron saint. The interior has a single nave, with interconnecting side chapels, houses important works of baroque art, including the main altarpiece depicting the Madonna and Child with Saints Martin and Crispin (1715), the artist Giovanni Carlo Aliberti, which is also attributed to the Triumph of San Martino, a fresco located in the vault of the apse. The vault of the nave was painted by Luigi Morgari in 1880 and depicts episodes from the life of San Martino.

La facciata é ancora oggi curata ed imponente e invoglia sicuramente ad entrare. All'interno troviamo diversi dipinti risalenti al 1700 e nel complesso lo stile architettonico unito alle opere presenti ci regalano sicuramente un colpo d'occhio molto suggestivo. Consiglio a chi passa da La Morra di fermarsi qui per una tappa, poiché merita sicuramente la pena. Baroque church dating back to 1600, located in the center of La Morra, a stone's throw from the famous Belvedere. The facade is still curated and impressive and certainly entices to enter. Inside we find several paintings dating back to 1700 and overall the architectural style combined with the works present certainly give us a very suggestive glance. I recommend to those who pass by La Morra to stop here for a stop, as it is definitely worth it.

Costruita nel XVII secolo in stile barocco, l'edificio presenta una scenografica facciata in laterizio: il portale risulta affiancato da semicolonne binate che sostengono cornici e semiarchi al cui centro si apre una nicchia con la statua di San Martino. Lesene, cornici, semiarchi conclusi da volute, nicchie, frontone movimentano il prospetto. Internamente è un tripudio di decorazioni: affreschi, dipinti, bassorilievi, sculture arricchiscono la navata unica e le cappelle laterali; nel presbiterio si innalza un altare con statue e una magnifica pala. L'edificio fu edificato nel 1699 e l'aspetto architettonico barocco piemontese lo si deve a Michelangelo Garove. All'interno è di buona fattura la pala raffigurante la "Madonna con bambino e i Santi Crispino e Giovanni" opera di Giovanni Carlo Alberto (1715).
