★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa non è di particolare pregio architettonico e lo stesso vale per il luogo ma - secondo la tradizione - fu teatro del primo miracolo avvenuto sulla Via Francigena. All'interno si conservano alcune tele del XVII e XVIII secolo. Sotto il pronao invece abbiamo un busto di Giovan Battista Schmidt benemerito industriale boemo che nell'800 introdusse in Val d'Elsa la lavorazione del vetro.
The church is not of particular architectural value and the same is true for the place but - according to tradition - it was the scene of the first miracle that took place on the Via Francigena. Inside there are some 17th and 18th century paintings. Under the pronaos, on the other hand, we have a bust of Giovan Battista Schmidt, a well-known Bohemian industrialist who introduced glass processing in Val d'Elsa in the 1800s.

Beautiful church (small but pitoresque) on the outskirts of Colle Val d elsa. Romanesque, all in stone. Worthy of admiration is a fresco depicting St. Martial recently restored and brought back to its natural splendor thanks to the contribution of the parishioners.
