★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Marina edificata in epoca normanna e riedificata nel 1646 ha al suo interno statue e quadri di alto interesse storico - artistico. I quadri sono di inizio '800 realizzati dal pittore Messinese Salvatore Caggiano mentre le statue sono in cartapesta e legno e sono state realizzate da Luigi Guidaccio da Lecce e vanno dal 1926 al 1928. Nel 1894 la chiesa fu danneggiata dal terremoto della Calabria meridionale che ne determinò la temporanea chiusura. Nel 1896 si mise mano ai lavori acquistando l' attuale lunghezza di ben 19 metri. In concomitanza fu realizzato il pregevole altare maggiore in marmi policromi grazie al contributo dei fedeli. Ha un bel ciborio scolpito in legno dall'artista milazzese Vincenzo Paolo da Milazzo e ricoperto da un sottilissimo strato di oro zecchino è del 1602. La comunità di Santa Marina è molto viva, ogni Agosto viene organizzata la Sagra delle Melanzane con degustazione di piatti tipici a base di Melanzane. Attualmente la parrocchia è guidata da Padre Sacca'
The church of Santa Marina built in the Norman period and rebuilt in 1646 has inside statues and paintings of high historical and artistic interest. The paintings are from the early 1800s made by the painter Salvatore Caggiano from Messina, while the statues are in papier-mâché and wood and were made by Luigi Guidaccio from Lecce and run from 1926 to 1928. In 1894 the church was damaged by the earthquake in southern Calabria which determined the temporary closure. In 1896 he began to work by purchasing the current length of 19 meters. In conjunction it was realized the precious altar in polychrome marbles with the help of the faithful. It has a beautiful tabernacle carved in wood by the artist Paolo Vincenzo Milazzo from Milazzo and covered with a thin layer of gold is pure 1602. The Santa Marina community is very much alive, every August is held the Festival of eggplant with tasting of typical dishes eggplant based. Currently the parish is led by Padre Sacca '
