La statua di santa liberata, la protettrice dei pescatori, il primo maggio viene portata a spalla attraverso Francavilla ed imbarcata al foro su un peschereccio per poi arrivare al Pontile di Francavilla Church rebuilt after being destroyed in the Second World War by the Germans. Il suo timbro di voce è molto chiara, si capisce bene specialmente quando predica il vangelo, non come alcuni sacerdoti timidi con voce soffusa che non si capisce ciò che dicono. Un'altra cosa molto importante, ambiente molto raccolto, silenzioso, tutti partecipano con rispetto e devozione. Merito di don Gennaro oppure della gente di Ripa? ?
