n	nicola menniti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono un cattolico ma non praticante nelle poche volte che ho avuto accesso alla chiesa ho sentito un senso di pace e benessere, nonostante alcune volte si è trattato di funerali.Vorrei poterla visitare più spesso! I am a Catholic but not a practitioner. In the few times I had access to the church, I felt a sense of peace and well-being, although it was sometimes a funeral. I wish I could visit it more often!
G	Giorgio Ricciotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Voluta dall'arcivescovo di Torino cardinal Maurilio Fossati, la prima piccola chiesa, realizzata dall'allora giovane presbitero don Vittorio Ferrero, venne benedetta nel 1935 da monsignor Giuseppe Garneri (vescovo) e intitolata a Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo, proclamato santo da Papa Pio XI solo un anno prima, nel 1934. La grande chiesa attuale, che si affaccia su corso Potenza, venne progettata solo nel 1949, per poi essere inaugurata nel dicembre del 1958. Wanted by the archbishop of Turin Cardinal Maurilio Fossati, the first small church, built by the then young priest Don Vittorio Ferrero, was blessed in 1935 by Monsignor Giuseppe Garneri (bishop) and named after Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo, proclaimed saint by Pope Pius XI only a year earlier, in 1934. The large current church, which overlooks Corso Potenza, was only designed in 1949, to then be inaugurated in December 1958.

È la mia chiesa d zona, essendo in corso Potenza 130, così vicina all'incrocio cn via Luini; ma confesso ke nn c vado mai... D certo c vado a quella della Notte Santa (ierinotte) ... La costruzione odierna risale a metà anni 50 mentre la parrocchia nasce alla fine degli anni 30 grazie all'intraprendenza dell'indimenticato canonico Don Ferrero. All'interno è presente un ciclo di affreschi di raffinata qualità che presentano una bellissima via crucis. Al centro dell'abside un maestoso Gesù Cristo Redentore è assiso attorniato dai vari santi compresi quelli sociali torinesi e in primis il Cottolengo a cui è dedicata la parrocchia. Banchi ben tenuti. Altare sopraelevato. Scalinata esterna ottima per foto di gruppo. Beautiful church, large and well lit.
