 Beautiful Medieval church the priest Don Renzo a true man of God even if far from where I live is always a pleasure for the soul I hope that soon there will be a real choir singing at all Holy Masses

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono di parte. E' la chiesa dove sono stato battezzato, comunicato e cresimato. Poi sposato e successivamente anche i miei figli ormai grandi anche loro hanno seguito i miei passi. Comunque e' una delle Chiese piu' belle dei Comuni vicini con il Campanile alto 47 metri che svetta imperioso nella parte piu' antica di Campagnano zona Castello!
I'm biased. It is the church where I was baptized, communicated and confirmed. Then married and later my grown children too, they followed my steps. However, it is one of the most beautiful churches in the neighboring municipalities with the 47-meter-high bell tower that stands out imperiously in the oldest part of Campagnano Castello area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monumento storico del paese. Sempre in ordine e suggestiva dove si trova la pace per riflettere sul corso della vita. Il Parroco persona di grande esperienza sempre la giusta parola di conforto, nei momenti più difficili.
Historical monument of the country. Always in order and suggestive where peace is found to reflect on the course of life. The parish priest is a person of great experience always the right word of comfort, in the most difficult moments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' la chiesa parrocchiale, ben inserita nella parte più suggestiva del borgo, stretta tra le case.
La sua fondazione risale al 1200 in stile gotico come testimoniato dal bel portale a sesto acuto e dal rosone (chiuso successivamente).
All'inizio del 1500 fu ampliata: di quell'epoca sono il presbiterio ed il notevole soffitto ligneo a cassettoni. La torre campanaria fu invece innalzata nel 1602.
L'aspetto attuale è stato comunque definito da ulteriori modifiche apportate nei secoli successivi.
Molto ricco l'interno.
It is the parish church, well inserted in the most suggestive part of the village, squeezed between the houses.
Its foundation dates back to 1200 in the Gothic style as evidenced by the beautiful pointed arch portal and rose window (closed later).
At the beginning of 1500 it was enlarged: the presbytery and the remarkable wooden coffered ceiling are from that time. The bell tower was instead raised in 1602.
The current appearance was however defined by further changes made in the following centuries.
The interior is very rich.
