★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa non è un albergo o un luogo di passaggio, bensì un posto di raccoglimento e di preghiera, che, nel corso delle funzioni religiose deve offrire il senso della comunità e del sacro.
Ricostruito dopo i danni bellici, l'edificio- ad un' un'ampia, unica navata- conserva tracce dell'antica bellezza. Durante la messa del Santo Natale, ho ascoltato un'omelia di profondo contenuto. E la presenza dell'organo ha dato maggiore intensità alla cerimonia, anche se i canti liturgici postconciliari sono musicalmente banali.

Rebuilt after the war damage, the building - with a wide, single nave - preserves traces of the ancient beauty. During the Holy Christmas mass, I listened to a homily of profound content. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa cristiana, curata e bella. Si può visitare cappelle dedicate a santa Chiara, san Giuseppe e molto altro, chiedendo il permesso al parroco se si è turisti, e di poter sapere la storia del luogo dedicato a San Gregorio Magno.
Inoltre, se si è devoti, si può pregare, confessarsi e seguire le Messe quotidiane rispettando le indicazioni di igiene, distanza e mascherina per covid.
Christian church, neat and beautiful. You can visit chapels dedicated to St. Clare, St. Joseph and much more, asking permission from the parish priest if you are a tourist, and to know the history of the place dedicated to St. Gregory the Great.
Furthermore, if you are devout, you can pray, confess and follow the daily Masses respecting the indications of hygiene, distance and mask for covid.

Beautiful church, in the heart of Milan, hidden from tourists, very quiet. Beautiful inside with statues of San Gregorio of fine workmanship. The frescoes from the early 1900s are interesting.
