Una vetrata racconta la storia di San Giovanni Vincenzo e nel campanile sono custodite le sue reliquie, protette dall'abbadia. A novembre la coinvolgente festa patronale. Honor to the parish choir! E' consigliato abbigliamento da trekking e un ricambio. Consigliato, non per principiante. Starting point to get to the Sacra di San Michele, there is an ancient mule track to be traveled all uphill with a 16% gradient, most of it in the shade and in any case there are fountains to cool off. Trekking clothes and a spare part are recommended. Recommended, not for beginners.

Pietro Apostolo di Chiusa di San Michele, che dal lato opposto dello stesso monte. Da entrambe partono le due mulattiere, per raggiungere a piedi la maestosa Abbazia della Sacra di San Michele, monumento riconoscibile arrivando dalla città di Torino. Parish Church of Sant 'Anbrogio in Turin. Located at the foot of Mount Pirchiriano, as such is also the parish church of S. Pietro Apostolo di Chiusa di San Michele, which is on the opposite side of the same mountain. Essa sostituì la precedente chiesa romanica del XIII secolo, che si trovava invece sul lato destro del campanile ed era orientata con ingresso in direzione ovest ed abside in direzione est, come da tradizione delle chiese antiche. Sotto l'altare maggiore, in un'urna visibile sul lato anteriore, sono custodite le spoglie di san Giovanni Vincenzo, fondatore della Sacra di San Michele, morto a Celle (oggi borgata del comune di Caprie) il 12 gennaio dell'anno 1000, che la comunità di Sant'Ambrogio di Torino custodisce dall'anno 1150. Degna di nota la pala dietro l'altare maggiore raffigurante la Madonna con il bambin Gesù fra i santi Ambrogio e Giovanni Vincenzo e la pala dell'altare a destra con la raffigurazione della "Morte di San Giuseppe". L'organo a canne situato sulla tribuna sopra le porte d'ingresso è stato posizionato nel 1804. Uscendo dalla chiesa e percorrendo la strada che la costeggia a destra s'incontra dapprima la Chiesa di San Rocco e poi l'inizio della antica mulattiera con le stazioni della Via Crucis, che da Sant'Ambrogio di Torino conduce sino alla Sacra di San Michele. The church was built between 1759 and 1763 by the architect Bernardo Vittone on the left side of the bell tower of Sant'Ambrogio, bell tower Romanesque (11th century) 37 meters high. It replaced the previous Romanesque church of the thirteenth century, which was instead on the right side of the bell tower and was oriented with the entrance towards the west and the apse towards the east, as per the tradition of ancient churches. Under the main altar, in an urn visible on the front side, are kept the remains of St. John Vincent, founder of the Sacra di San Michele, who died in Celle (now a village in the municipality of Caprie) on 12 January of the year 1000, that the community of Sant'Ambrogio di Torino has kept since 1150. Worthy of note is the altarpiece behind the main altar depicting the Madonna with the child Jesus between the saints Ambrogio and Giovanni Vincenzo and the altarpiece on the right with the depiction of the "Death of St. Joseph". The pipe organ located on the grandstand above the entrance doors was placed in 1804. Leaving the church and taking the road that runs along it to the right, you first meet the Church of San Rocco and then the beginning of the ancient mule track with the stations of the Via Crucis, which from Sant'Ambrogio di Torino leads up to the Sacra di San Michele .
