★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruita nel 1611 dalla Confraternita di Sant’ Anna, per non moltiplicare il numero delle chiese, che per mancanza di rendite sarebbe stato difficile mantenere, incorporò la cappelletta preesistente dedicata a S. Maria di Curò. Successivamente (1675) la chiesa passò sotto la gestione dei Crociferi o Camilliani. Nel 1866, con la soppressione degli ordini religiosi, il convento venne incorporato dallo stato italiano che lo vendette a pubblico incanto, mentre la chiesa venne affidata in un primo momento al francescano “Fra Giovanni di Monte S.Giuliano”. Nel 1901 il sacerdote Sutera acquistò dal demanio la chiesa e ne propose l’elevazione a parrocchia. Il 13 Maggio 1927 venne emanato il decreto ministeriale di riconoscimento civile della Parrocchia.
Built in 1611 by the Confraternity of Sant'Anna, in order not to multiply the number of churches, which for lack of income would have been difficult to maintain, it incorporated the pre-existing chapel dedicated to S. Maria di Curò. Subsequently (1675) the church passed under the management of the Crociferi or Camilliani. In 1866, with the suppression of religious orders, the convent was incorporated by the Italian state which sold it to public enchantment, while the church was initially entrusted to the Franciscan "Fra Giovanni di Monte S.Giuliano". In 1901 the priest Sutera bought the church from the state property and proposed its elevation to a parish. On May 13, 1927 the ministerial decree of civil recognition of the Parish was issued.
