Sembra che sia nata dai litigi di Coquio e Trevisago. Gli abitanti Di Trevisago, Sant'Andrea non amavano unirsi per i festeggiamenti alla comunità di Coquio per celebrare le festività.
The Church is located 5 minutes from the Coquio-Trevisago station of the Northern railway linking Laveno and northern Milan Cadorna. The building dates back to 1606. It seems that it was born from the quarrels of Coquio and Trevisago. The inhabitants of Trevisago, Sant'Andrea did not like to join for the celebrations to the community of Coquio to celebrate the festivities.
