★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sulla strada che da Rubignacco porta a Faedis sorge la chiesetta di Sant'Elena in campo, sopra la collinetta di Malbergia sorge la chiesetta di S.Elena in campo.
La chiesetta fu consacrata nel 1296. L'edificio ad aula rettangolare ha una monofora campanaria.
É interessante il fatto che alla base della collina si trova un fossato, formato da due piccoli corsi d'acqua, che fa pensare ad una struttura difensiva del sito.
La chiesetta merita sicuramente una visita per la sua storia e per il contesto naturale in cui é collocata.
On the road from Rubignacco to Faedis stands the small church of Sant'Elena in the field, above the hill of Malbergia rises the small church of S. Elena in the field.
The small church was consecrated in 1296. The rectangular hall building has a bell-shaped single-light window.
It is interesting that at the base of the hill there is a moat, formed by two small streams, which suggests a defensive site structure.
The church is certainly worth a visit for its history and for the natural context in which it is located.
