★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccola chiesetta molto antica situata su un pianoro dal cui giardinetto si gode una vista meravigliosa sul lago.Interessanti gli affreschi del XIVsec. di autore ignoto.I meglio conservati sono quelli dell'absidiola con un Cristo in mandorla e i 4 evangelisti coi relativi simboli.Sulla parete un ciclo della passione di Cristo diviso in piccoli riquadri purtroppo molto rovinato da scalpellature.Bella anche la Madonna col bambino. Nel XVII sec. vi furono delle ristrutturazioni da parte del rev. Giovanni di Ranzanico (qui sepolto con una lapide di fronte all'altare)per ricavare il nuovo spazio dell'altare maggiore ornato da una bella tela.La pace e la tranquillità che si godono seduti nel giardino contemplando il lago valgono la pena della fatica per trovarla .È aperto solo la domenica pomeriggio dei mesi estivi.
Small very ancient church located on a plateau from whose garden you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake. Interesting frescoes of XIVsec. by an unknown author. The best preserved are those of the apseidiola with an almond-shaped Christ and the 4 evangelists with the relative symbols. On the wall a cycle of the passion of Christ divided into small squares, unfortunately very ruined by chisels. Also the Madonna with the child is beautiful. In the seventeenth century there were renovations by the rev. Giovanni di Ranzanico (here buried with a plaque in front of the altar) to obtain the new space of the main altar adorned with a beautiful canvas. The peace and tranquility enjoyed sitting in the garden contemplating the lake are worth the effort for find it. It is open only on Sunday afternoon in the summer months.
