G	Giuseppe Vallelunga on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di Sant'Oliva fu costruita nel 1643 per volere di Don Ottavio Lanza. La Chiesa fu adibita fino al 1800 a cimitero locale. Essa è caratterizzata da una struttura semplice ad una sola navata, è dotata di un prezioso altare proveniente dalla chiesa del Castello Lanza ed in essa vi sono conservate due splendide opere. La prima è il martirio di Santo Stefano, che sembrerebbe stilisticamente legata alla scuola di Pietro Novelli. La seconda è una Madonna con Bambino realizzata secondo stilemi fiamminghi o derivanti dalla cultura Antonellesca. The Church of Sant'Oliva was built in 1643 at the behest of Don Ottavio Lanza. The Church was used until 1800 to a local cemetery. It is characterized by a simple structure with a single nave, it is equipped with a precious altar coming from the church of the Lanza Castle and in it there are preserved two splendid works. The first is the martyrdom of Saint Stephen, which would seem stylistically linked to the school of Pietro Novelli. The second is a Madonna with Child created according to Flemish styles or deriving from the Antonellesca culture.

Stefano", probabilmente secentesco, con riferimenti a Pietro Novelli e alla scuola caravaggesca; una "Madonna con bambino" di ascendenza fiamminga o forse anche antonelliana, con antica cornice, correttamente restaurata e che, per il manifesto valore, meriterebbe accurati studi. La chiesa è gestita dai confratelli della Congregazione di Maria Santissima Immacolata e presieduta oggi, con competenza, volontà ed entusiasmo, dal priore Ignazio Turturici. Small hall church, lovingly maintained in excellent condition. Inside, two valuable paintings: a "Martyrdom of St. Stephen", probably from the seventeenth century, with references to Pietro Novelli and the Caravaggesque school; a "Madonna with child" of Flemish or perhaps Antonellian ancestry, with an ancient frame, correctly restored and which, for its manifest value, deserves careful studies. The church is managed by the confreres of the Congregation of the Most Holy Immaculate Mary and is presided over today, with competence, will and enthusiasm, by the prior Ignazio Turturici.
