L’accès se fait via la route, le chemin est laborieux : feux tricolores, routes étroites... mais cela en vaut la peine. Attention, très peu de place de stationnement pour accéder à ce point de vue ! Excellent panorama on the Amalfi Coast. Near Amalfi and not far from Positano. Access is via the road, the road is laborious: traffic lights, narrow roads ... but it is worth it. Attention, very little parking space to access this point of view!

Si arriva a piedi, scendendo una scalinata molto suggestiva immersa negli agrumeti. Davvero caratteristico, da vedere. A place of worship situated in a marvelous position, with a view of the sea as in few other places. You arrive on foot, going down a very suggestive staircase immersed in the citrus groves. Really characteristic, to see.

Pancrazio, a tre navate, absidata, mostra il classico impianto basilicale, con piccolo nartece e transetto creato dalla luce maggiore dell’ultima campata. Le navate sono divise da pilastri e coperte da volte a crociera. Tre cappelle per lato movimentano gli alzati. La facciata ed il campanile sono rifacimenti di quelli risalenti all’impianto originario, che risale sicuramente al 1300, dato che una fonte d’archivio riporta all’anno 1362 il patronato sulla chiesa da parte della famiglia Mele. In una splendida posizione, l'edificio è circondato da un ampio cortile, su cui sono disposte due file laterali di palme davanti alle tre porte d'ingresso, al di sopra delle quali sono presenti mosaici di scuola ravennate (realizzati nel 1957) raffiguranti San Pancrazio a destra, Sant'Antonio di Padova a sinistra e al centro alla Madonna del Carmine. The church of S. Pancrazio, with three naves, an apsed, shows the classic basilica layout, with a small narthex and transept created by the greater light of the last span. The naves are divided by pillars and covered with cross vaults. Three chapels on each side move the elevations. The façade and the bell tower are remakes of those dating back to the original layout, which certainly dates back to 1300, since an archive source reports the patronage of the church by the Mele family to the year 1362. In a splendid position, the building is surrounded by a large courtyard, on which two lateral rows of palm trees are arranged in front of the three entrance doors, above which there are mosaics of the Ravenna school (made in 1957) depicting St. Pancrazio on the right, Sant'Antonio di Padova on the left and the Madonna del Carmine in the center.

Il parroco, durante il mio matrimonio, ogni tanto si fermava e diceva: "...ma guardate che meraviglia, guardate che bellezza...". Di fronte a sé aveva il portone spalancato, il mare che si confondeva con il cielo azzurro e i faraglioni di Capri! The church itself is very normal, it cannot be described as a marvel but its location is truly breathtaking. The parish priest, during my marriage, occasionally stopped and said: "... but look how wonderful, look how beautiful ...". In front of him he had the door wide open, the sea that merged with the blue sky and the stacks of Capri!
