★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Fermo e' antica tenuta molto bene non ho potuto visitarla all'interno perche' chiusa il sagrato e' circondato da belle piante dove si vede un panorama collinare
The church of San Fermo is old and kept very well I could not visit it inside because the churchyard closed and surrounded by beautiful plants where you can see a hilly panorama

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima chiesetta antica in onore di San Fermo ,sorge su un dosso a mezza costa che domina il lago, in località Gazzane di Sulzano; l’edificio è visibile sulla destra per chi percorre la superstrada in direzione sud. Il luogo, oggi isolato, era in passato un punto strategico in quanto posizionato nei pressi della cosiddetta via Valeriana. In origine la dedicazione era ai santi Ippolito e Cassiano, ma verso la metà del XIX secolo comincia a imporsi la nuova dedicazione a san Fermo, patrono delle attività agricole e del bestiame.
NON PERDETEVI LA FANTASTICA FESTA DI SAN FERMO OGNI ANNO CHE COMPRENDE Ľ8 AGOSTO(giorno dedicato a San Fermo).
Beautiful ancient church in honor of San Fermo, stands on a ridge halfway up the hill overlooking the lake, in Gazzane di Sulzano; the building is visible on the right for those who cross the highway to the south. The place, today isolated, was in the past a strategic point because it was located near the so-called via Valeriana. Originally, the dedication was to Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, but towards the middle of the nineteenth century the new dedication to San Fermo, patron of agricultural and livestock activities, began to prevail.
DO NOT MISS THE FANTASTIC FEAST OF SAN FERMO EVERY YEAR THAT INCLUDES Ľ8 AUGUST (day dedicated to San Fermo).

The church was closed but it was worth the whole climb on foot to admire a spectacular view!
