L'edificio risale alla seconda metà del 1700, sebbene citazioni storiche menzionano già una Chiesa in Urgnano, dedicata a San Nazario, risalente al 1304. Al suo interno sono conservati affreschi di Vincenzo Angelo Orelli, Tintoretto, Giacomo Trecourt e altri, nonché il più grande organo del 1.700 costruito in Italia. Grazie all'interessamento del defunto parroco, don Mariano Carrara, e al contributo della popolazione e di ditte locali sono stati realizzati importanti interventi di restauro che hanno contribuito a ridare splendore alla parrocchia. Parish church dedicated to Saints Nazario and Celso. The building dates back to the second half of the 1700s, although historical quotations already mention a Church in Urgnano, dedicated to San Nazario, dating back to 1304. Inside there are frescoes by Vincenzo Angelo Orelli, Tintoretto, Giacomo Trecourt and others, as well as the largest organ of the 1700s built in Italy. Thanks to the interest of the deceased parish priest, Don Mariano Carrara, and to the contribution of the population and local companies, important restoration interventions have been carried out which have helped to restore splendor to the parish.

Presenti anche quadri di valore in sagrestia. notevole il campanile del Cagnola. Il campanile è, secondo me, il più bel campanile di tutta la provincia: nonché il più bello che abbia mai visto. The dome of this church is a marvelous work of art, which from the inside, although flat, conveys depth, also if viewed from the left it appears oriented to the right and vice versa. The bell tower is, in my opinion, the most beautiful bell tower in the whole province: as well as the most beautiful I've ever seen.
