★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa Chiesa, in antico, era juspatronato dei monaci Benedettini di S. Felice di Vicenza. Era parrocchiale con battistero e un solo altare, a navata unica, intitolata ai Santi Vito, Modesto e Cresenzia,(i primi due erano fratelli e la terza era la nutrice, furono martirizzati nel lll secolo DC). Era collocata nel luogo denominato “La corte piccola” a differenza della “corte grande” dove si trovava, poco lontano, il convento dei frati Benedettini. Dopo il 1000, si ha notizia che la Chiesa era assoggettata alla Chiesa di S. Felice di Altavilla Vicentina. E dipendeva dal Quartiere del Domo di Vicenza, assieme a S. Michele di Brendola. E’ del 1196 il primo documento che ne attesta l’esistenza e si trova nell’archivio di S. Felice di Vicenza.
This church, in ancient times, was the patronage of the Benedictine monks of S. Felice di Vicenza. It was a parish church with a baptistery and a single altar, with a single nave, dedicated to Saints Vito, Modesto and Cresenzia, (the first two were brothers and the third was the nurse, they were martyred in the 11th century AD). It was located in the place called "The small court" unlike the "large court" where the convent of the Benedictine monks was located not far away. After 1000, it is known that the Church was subject to the Church of S. Felice di Altavilla Vicentina. And it depended on the Quartiere del Domo of Vicenza, together with S. Michele di Brendola. The first document certifying its existence dates back to 1196 and is found in the S. Felice di Vicenza archive.
