★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La sua edificazione risalirebbe al 1396 ad opera dei monaci Benedettini ai quali subentrarono, nel 1494, i frati Francescani. La parrocchia fu istituita nel 1414 dall'arcivescovo di Genova monsignor Pileo de' Marini scorporandola dalla precedente comunità parrocchiale di Santa Croce.
Al suo interno conserva un gruppo ligneo di San Giorgio e il drago di scuola dello scultore Anton Maria Maragliano; una tela di San Giorgio che uccide il drago attribuita a Pieter Paul Rubens; un polittico con san Lorenzo tra santa Chiara, san Paolo, san Francesco e san Leonardo con nella cuspide un Battesimo di Cristo, attribuito a Giovanni da Pisa; un polittico con san Ludovico in trono fra i santi Antonio abate, Ambrogio, Stefano, Nicola e altri santi inseriti nella cuspide e nella predella, di Giovanni da Barbagelata; una Madonna con san Pietro, santo vescovo e anime purganti di Carlo Dolci; una Adorazione dei Magi di Luca Cambiaso nativo di Moneglia.
Its construction dates back to 1396 by the Benedictine monks who were replaced in 1494 by the Franciscan friars. The parish was established in 1414 by the archbishop of Genoa Monsignor Pileo de 'Marini, separating it from the previous parish community of Santa Croce.
Inside it preserves a wooden group of San Giorgio and the dragon of the school of the sculptor Anton Maria Maragliano; a painting of St. George slaying the dragon attributed to Pieter Paul Rubens; a polyptych with St. Lawrence between St. Clare, St. Paul, St. Francis and St. Leonard with a Baptism of Christ in the cusp, attributed to Giovanni da Pisa; a polyptych with St. Louis enthroned among the saints Antonio Abbot, Ambrogio, Stefano, Nicola and other saints inserted in the cusp and predella, by Giovanni da Barbagelata; a Madonna with Saint Peter, holy bishop and souls in purgatory by Carlo Dolci; an Adoration of the Magi by Luca Cambiaso from Moneglia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa a navata unica dal caratteristico rivestimento a righe orizzontali bianche e grigio, molto diffuso in questa parte della Liguria.
La struttura non presenta particolarità di rilievo ma risulta, comunque, piacevole, principalmente per il senso raccolto e intimo che trasmette al visitatore entrandovi.
Degno di nota, al contrario, è la scultura lignea di San Giorgio che uccide il Drago, opera dello scultore genovese Pietro Galleano, molto attivo nel genovese durante la metà del 1700.
Interessanti sono anche i chiostri che sorgono a lato della chiesa, risalenti al 1400 circa che oggi, purtroppo, non sono più visitabili!
Church with a single nave with a characteristic white and gray horizontal striped coating, very common in this part of Liguria.
The structure has no particularities of importance but it is, however, pleasant, mainly for the collected and intimate sense that it transmits to the visitor upon entering it.
Worthy of note, on the other hand, is the wooden sculpture of San Giorgio killing the Dragon, the work of the Genoese sculptor Pietro Galleano, very active in the Genoese area during the mid-1700s.
Also interesting are the cloisters that rise to the side of the church, dating back to around 1400 which today, unfortunately, can no longer be visited!
