★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una bella chiesa della Lomellina, divenuta parrocchiale nel 1597. Tuttavia la sua esistenza è sicuramente precedente a quella data; secondo il Pezza, infatti, esisteva già in forma di priorato alle dipendenze dell'Abbazia di Santa Croce a Mortara. Evidentemente rimaneggiata nel corso dei secoli, oggi si presenta con una sobria facciata in cui il barocco confluisce nel neoclassico.
Pur non mostrando particolari pregi artistici, è da ammirare per come è tenuta. Spicca soprattutto il campanile, recentemente restaurato.
It is a beautiful church in Lomellina, which became a parish church in 1597. However, its existence certainly precedes that date; according to Pezza, in fact, it already existed in the form of a priory under the jurisdiction of the Abbey of Santa Croce in Mortara. Evidently remodeled over the centuries, today it has a sober facade in which the baroque merges with the neoclassical.
While not showing any particular artistic merits, it is to be admired for how it is kept. The recently restored bell tower stands out.
