Risalente alla prima metà del XV secolo, il convento venne edificato ai piedi della collina di Terravecchia, dove probabilmente già sorgeva un luogo di culto. Molto elegante il chiostro, le sale sono attrezzate per ospitare mostre e convegni, da non perdere al suo interno il ciclo di affreschi di scuola giottesca.

Imposing structure, located outside the city walls and in a strategic position. Dating back to the first half of the 15th century, the convent was built at the foot of the Terravecchia hill, where a place of worship probably already stood. The cloister is very elegant, the rooms are equipped to host exhibitions and conferences, not to be missed inside the cycle of frescoes of the Giotto school.
