Anche la messa ascoltata é stata bella e carica di spiritualità. Emozionante l'omelia e l'altro della consacrazione.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fu costruita nel 1274 sulle rovine dell'Abbazia di S. Simeone, distrutta da un incendio nel 1137. Purtroppo il sisma del 1980 privò i montecorvinesi del bellissimo Duomo fino al 2002, anno in cui il Duomo fu riaperto in seguito a lavori di ristrutturazione. E’ possibile ammirare oggi al suo interno affreschi e dipinti risalenti al XVIII e XIX secolo.

It was built in 1274 on the ruins of the Abbey of S. Simeone, which was destroyed by a fire in 1137. Unfortunately, the earthquake of 1980 deprived the people of Montecorvino of the beautiful cathedral until 2002, when the cathedral was reopened following renovations. Today it is possible to admire frescoes and paintings dating from the 18th and 19th centuries inside.
