★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa, risalente al 1882, fu eretta sulle rovine dell' antico convento di S. Maria di Loreto e S. Antonio, luogo fondato dei Frati Minori Conventuali. Collocata nello spazio antistante alla piazza, fu affidata alla Congregazione di Santa Maria della Pietà nel 1831. Soltanto nel 1945, per volere del Vescovo della Diocesi di Ascoli Satriano e Cerignola, Mons. Pafundi, fu eretta a parrocchia. La statua di Sant'Antonio, di grande pregio artistico, risale al ' 700 . In questa Chiesa, che nel corso dei secoli ha subito svariate modifiche tra cui l' eliminazione dell' altare maggiore, possiamo assistere al culto della "tredicina", strettamente legata alla figura del Santo di Padova, al culto dell' Immacolata, risalente al '700, e alla processione della Pietà, che si svolge nelle ore mattutine del Sabato Santo, culto a cui la Chiesa era inizialmente dedicata.
The Church, dating back to 1882, was erected on the ruins of the ancient convent of S. Maria di Loreto and S. Antonio, a place founded by the Conventual Friars Minor. Located in the space in front of the square, it was entrusted to the Congregation of Santa Maria della Pietà in 1831. Only in 1945, at the behest of the Bishop of the Diocese of Ascoli Satriano and Cerignola, Mons. Pafundi, it was erected as a parish. The statue of Sant'Antonio, of great artistic value, dates back to the 18th century. In this Church, which over the centuries has undergone various modifications including the elimination of the high altar, we can witness the cult of the "tredicina", closely linked to the figure of the Saint of Padua, to the cult of the Immaculate Conception, dating back to 700, and the procession of the Pietà, which takes place in the morning hours of Holy Saturday, a cult to which the Church was initially dedicated.
